Moonambel

Moonambel is located between Avoca and Landsborough and has become home to many of the fine wineries of the Pyrenees. Despite its small population.

Moonambel is one of the most active communities in Pyrenees Shire with many regular events including a fireworks display, Easter Arts Festival and petanque. Moonambel is well served by a local shop, pub and primary school. At the 2006 census, Moonambel and district had a population of 267.
