Company representatives Nick Lynch and Tim Cortese came to town as part of a goodwill initiative aimed at strengthening relationships with local community organisations and exploring opportunities to support future projects within the region.

The visit brought together representatives from several local groups at the Beaufort Hotel, including the Beaufort Football Netball Club Beaufort Cricket Club, Apex and Beaufort Men's Shed.

During the session, Mr Lynch and Mr Cortese shared the history and background of Beaufort Group, outlining the company's Australian and Global manufacturing heritage and its commitment to safety and innovation.

Attendees were also treated to demonstrations of several specialist products manufactured by the company, including anti-G trousers used by F-35 fighter pilots, lifejackets and fire extinguishers.

The visit provided an opportunity for open discussion about potential partnerships and ways the company may be able to assist local organisations with future projects and community initiatives.

Beaufort Group representatives also shared their vision of seeing every business, sporting club and community facility in Beaufort equipped with a Beaufort-branded fire extinguisher.

The idea was presented as both a commitment to community safety and a symbolic recognition of the special connection between the town of Beaufort and a company that proudly carries its name.

Adding a personal touch to the day, both Mr Lynch and Mr Cortese were able to establish family connections to the Beaufort district through the Lynch and Tiley family names.

The discovery highlighted the strong historical ties many Australian families have to regional communities and helped foster an even stronger connection between the visitors and the local representatives in attendance.

As a token of appreciation, all attendees left with a Beaufort-branded fire extinguisher, helping reinforce the company's commitment to safety and community support.

Both the Beaufort Group representatives and local community leaders described the day as a positive first step in building stronger connections and exploring opportunities that could benefit the Beaufort community in the years ahead.

Discussions will continue in coming months as opportunities are identified to support local projects and strengthen community outcomes across the district.
