Car fire under investigation on Ararat’s outskirts

A vehicle fire on the outskirts of Ararat last Sunday night is being treated as suspicious, police have confirmed. Emergency services were called to the intersection of Burrumbeep–Boundary Road and Jacksons Creek Road about 9.40pm following reports of a car engulfed in flames.

CFA crews leaped into action to contain a blaze which fully engulfed a vehicle near the Jackson's Creek Road railway crossing last Sunday night.
