Commonwealth Bank backs food relief initiative
ARARAT’s Community Food Van has received a financial boost thanks to the Commonwealth Bank. The Community Food Van commenced in 2025 offering a free hot meal to people in need every Wednesday night. Last week, the local Commonwealth Bank branch handed over $2,000 to Food Bank Chairman Bob Sanders to allow the organisation to buy food and supplies.
Commonwealth Bank Manager Stacey Bennett met up with Community Food Bank Chairman Bob Sanders last week to present a donation of $2,000.
