Council responds to calls to restore Ararat landmark
ARARAT Rural City Council has been quick to respond to calls for the restoration of an historic fountain, with Mayor Bob Sanders and Deputy Mayor Teli Kaur inspecting the forgotten fountain this week.
Deputy Mayor Teli Kaur and Mayor Bob Sanders joined historians Pat McAloon, Marion McAdie and Kerrin Gellie about the future of the McCulloch Mountain in the Alexandra Gardens.
