Firewood collection reminder
AS winer settles in over the Ararat region, council is reminding residents that collecting firewood without the proper permits or from restricted areas is illegal and can cause significant harm to local landscapes and wildlife.
Ararat residents can legally collect firewood from designated areas until June 30.
