Giants begin 2026 season
The Grampians Giants All Abilities Football team will play its first round of the 2026 season on the weekend.
They will come up against South Warrnambool at the Horsham City Oval on Sunday in a rematch of last year’s Grand Final. The game is set to be a hard-fought one, and the Giants are hopeful of success, especially with new recruits joining the side.
Their skills have been constantly improving, and the team is keen to see some reward for their commitment and perseverance.
The Giants enjoyed an exciting 2025 season and were finally able to win a few games. In addition, they were thrilled to be announced winners of the Wimmera Regional Sports Assembly’s “Team of the Year”.
