Hyslop returns as Mayor
NORTHERN Grampians Shire Council’s statutory meeting was short and sweet, with Mayor Karen Hyslop and Deputy Mayor Justine Hide set to lead Council for a second term. The pair exchanged a great number of compliments towards each other following their unopposed re-election, both declaring they feel very comfortable and confident working together. An enthusiastic gallery of family, friends and well-wishers was on hand to see the Mayor’s second term confirmed, and the meeting was followed by a social reception where all the Councillors expressed excitement for the year ahead.
Cr Karen Hyslop and Cr Justine Hide will continue in their roles after tonight's statutory meeting in Stawell.
