Potholes leave motorists counting the cost
SAFE, reliable roads are one of the most basic services governments are expected to deliver, but recent rain has once again turned sections of the region's road network into an obstacle course for motorists. As potholes opened up across major roads, drivers have been forced to navigate damaged sections, with automotive businesses continuing to see a steady stream of vehicles requiring repairs. Ararat Tyrepower Manager Jason Stocks said the business had seen motorists arriving with everything from damaged tyres to cracked rims.
