Strong crowd celebrates Australia Day at Navarre

A strong show of community spirit was on display as approximately 60 people gathered to celebrate Australia Day in Navarre, enjoying a relaxed and welcoming morning filled with stories, reflection and connection. The celebrations began at 8.30am with a true Aussie barbecue that proved popular among locals. Long-time volunteers Mick Sammut and Chris Bibby once again took charge of the barbecue. Their efforts ensured the large crowd was well fed as the morning unfolded.
